Create a Crypto Wallet
If you don’t already have a crypto wallet, you’re going to want to head to the Locker Token Web App.
Once you’ve opened up the app for the first time, your wallet will generate a series of 12 random words. This is your seed phrase. Your seed phrase is what enables you to maintain full access and control over your wallet. Make sure to store it somewhere safe, ideally offline.
We are showing you the seed phrase here, but remember, do not share it with anyone.
Now that you have a crypto wallet, you will be able to purchase cryptocurrencies like LOCKER, ETH, and MATIC. To purchase LOCKER, see our How To Buy LOCKER page.
Fund Your Wallet
Currently, Locker Token NFTs live natively on the Ethereum and Polygon (MATIC) blockchains; therefore, before buying an NFT, you need to make sure that you have enough MATIC to cover your gas costs.
Gas is the amount of money needed to compute transactions on the Ethereum Blockchain. The amount of gas you need to complete a transaction typically depends on the complexity of the transaction and the network demand at the time of the transaction. For a typical transaction like this, you can estimate 0.001 ETH needed to cover your gas costs.
To purchase ETH or MATIC, click or tap the “Buy” button in the top menu. Once there, you will have the option to buy BTC, ETH, and MATIC through an on ramp tool, which will let you fund your crypto wallet directly from your preferred credit or debit card.
Once you’ve funded your wallet, you can go ahead and head to the NFT Marketplace by either clicking the link or tapping or clicking “NFTs” in the bottom panel inside the mobile and web apps.
You can now surf the marketplace to see our wide selection of Sports NFT Cards, and Sticker Collections.
Pay For Your NFT
Once you’ve found a wallet that catches your interest, all you have to do is click or tap the “Buy” button.
You will then see a screen that will confirm the NFT price and gas fee depending on the transaction complexity and network demand at the time of purchase.
Click or tap “Confirm Buy” to finalize your purchase.
Once the transaction has been confirmed, you can view your progress and details by copying and pasting your wallet address to a block explorer like Polygonscan or Etherescan.

How To Buy Sports NFTs Through The Mobile App

To be able to purchase Sports NFTs from the Locker Token NFT Marketplace, on your mobile divice, make sure to download the Locker Token mobile app, which is available for Apple and Android Devices.
Download the Locker Token Mobile App
Once you’ve downloaded and opened up the Locker Token mobile app, you will be be prompted to the creation of a Seed Phrase. A Seed Phrase is a combination of words and is what secures your account’s access to the blockchain. Make sure you store this offline.
Add Funds To Your Wallet
Once you’ve secured your seed phrase, you’r going to need to add funds to your wallet. Locker Tokens live on the blockchain, due to this, you will need either ETH or MATIC to cover gas costs.

From the Main Menu, tap on the “Buy” option beneath the balance. You will then be prompted to select your which currency you wish to purchase. For the purposes of this tutorial, select “MATIC.”

Head To The NFT Marketplace
From the Main Menu, head to the Locker Token NFT Marketplace by tapping “NFTs” at the from the bottom panel.
Welcome to the Locker Token NFT Marketplace! From here, you can browse all the Locker Token Sports NFTs and Hockey NFTs.
Pay For Your NFT
Once you’ve found an NFT that catches your interest, tap on the NFT. Then, select the “Buy” option.
You will then be prompted to a screen to confirm both the gas free and the NFT price. Remember, gas fees fluctuate, as they depend on network demand at time of purchase and transaction complexity.
Click or tap “Confirm Buy” to finalize your purchase.

What are NFTs?
